WHAT DOES ENZYME THERAPY TREAT?
Anyone and everyone will benefit from enzyme therapy. Treatments are especially good for improving skin conditions and concerns such as acne, hyper-pigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, premature ageing, scarring and sun damaged skin.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING THE TREATMENT?
DMK treatments are slightly different to traditional facials as they are solely designed to give you proven results and long term healthy, functioning skin. It is not designed for relaxation. Due to the treatment including an enzyme mask which is left on for up to 45 minutes, the mask will feel tight as it dries & you will notice a pulsating sensation under the skin as your capillaries dilate to bring fresh nutrients and oxygen to your cells. This is called the plasmatic effect - true oxygen therapy from the inside out.
ARE THERE SIDE EFFECTS?
Redness from the Plasmatic Effect can last around 20 minutes. Other side effects are rare but can include slight redness, irritation or mild itching, temporary hyper-pigmentation and swelling for up to 24 hours. Slight flaking, dryness and peeling may be present for up to 72 hours post treatment.
HOW MANY DO I NEED?
Results are noticeable from your first treatment, however a course of 3-8 sessions is recommend. Your first few treatments can be 2-4 weeks apart, then every 30 days until the skin is functioning well. Future follow up treatments can be carried out every 6-12 weeks depending on person. This should always be followed with continued use of the home care prescriptive to prolong results and maintain healthy skin. Using other brands will mean your results may take longer.
